Just bumped into my across the hall neighbour.

Apparently, a bunch of apartments in our building have cockroaches.

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Thankfully, I have yet to see one in my apartment (otherwise I would have freaked the fuck out), but they're only spraying affected apartments, which means I now have the impetus I need to clean like a motherfucker.

Of course, I just renewed my lease for another year. Those fuckers better not come into my apartment.

Have a good night, y'all. Comet and liquid cleaner, here I come.

We had teeny tiny baby cockroaches two apartments ago. They were small enough that they weren't so gross, and the super put some stuff down that made them all die really quickly. We called them "bibits" (sp? because it made them seem less gross and more french.

Last week I saw a HUGE roach in the basement of my store. I was mostly confused, because what is he eating? CDs? Why does he live there?

Heh. If any do appear here, I'll have to call them bibits. It does make them seem less gross.

My neighbour saw a cockroach hanging out at the back door of our building. I suppose it could have been living off the garbage, but it wasn't near the trash cans at all. So weird.

EWWWWW. I had cockroaches in my apartment in Montreal, and I couldn't figure out why -- until my next door neighbour got sent to prison for fraud or something like that, and they went into his apartment. It was FILTHY. There was crap everywhere, including food, and the bathroom sink had actually fallen off the wall. I was so happy to get out of there.

Oh my god, that's nasty! I'd be happy to leave there, too.

This apartment building always seemed clean, but I guess you never know about what another person's apartment is like.

I'm slightly surprised that the last apartment I lived in didn't have cockroaches when I moved it - it was the most disgusting apartment I'd ever seen.

When I came in the apartment from talking to my neighbour, I told her that if she sees any, she should eat them, or scare the crap out of them so they'll never come back, and I'll make sure she has lots of "kitty crack" (my name for her treats).

Goooood kitty, indeed!

although we had a minor ant problem a few months ago and the cats didn't do shit. olivia would just sit down and stare at them. useless.

Maybe cockroaches are more exciting for cats?

I really hope they stay away from my apartment. I'm totally going on an organizing binge this weekend, to get rid of all the extra papers and crap I have hanging around. Hopefully that'll discourage any cockroaches, too.
