I have my resume ready to apply for that other position at work that is way more closer to what I actually want to do than this answering the phones crap. And the two managerial types I've talked to about it have been very excited and supportive about me applying for it, so here's hoping. I'll drop my resume off to HR on my lunch in half an hour, and then after that...who knows how long it will take. They're not always the quickest here.
I should probably mention to my supervisor that I'm applying for it, hey?
Ow, my head really hurts. The air in this building is terrible, but because it's only barely safe to breathe (as in, just under the limit for badness), they won't do anything about it. Jerks.

The air in my work building is horrid, too. They stopped trying to fix it after they decided to move - and the air quality was one of their decisions to move out of the building we're currently in, rather than expanding and taking over more floors. In the meantime, breathing is hard. So I sympathize. ;)

Yikes, I hope you get to move soon. Breathing gross air sucks. It'll probably improve a bit later in the summer when they turn the AC on, since it'll at least be cold, gross air (as opposed to today's thick, muggy, gross air). Sadly, the powers that be just renewed the lease here, so there's no move in the near future for us. Le sigh.
