1. What year was it? 1995-96
2. What were your three favourite bands? Any band that played at Woodstock: Arlo Guthrie, Jimi Hendrix, and Jefferson Airplane, if I am being forced to pick, with Janis Joplin a close 4th. (Although I am embarassed to admit that I listed my favourite song in the Grad section of the yearbook as "Glycerine" by BushX.)
3. What was your favourite outfit? Jeans and a t-shirt, sneakers. I was all about comfort. Still am.
4. What was up with your hair? Very long, usually pulled back in a barrette or braid. Every once in a while I'd wear it down and curly (as opposed to just wavy), but it was such a pain that I'd rarely do that. In December of '95 I got bangs again for the first time in 4 years.
5. Who were your best friends? Tara (who didn't go to my school), Laura, Christina, Rob, Julia, Elena, Julie, Mark, and Brett.
6. What did you do after school? Senior Concert Band, Music Activity Council (Laura and I were the co-Presidents), choir, and I think badminton was in OAC, but it may have been Grade 12. Oh, and I was on the Grad committee, and Students Against Driving Drunk.
7. Did you take the bus? Yep. Sadly, there wasn't much choice, and the kids on the bus drove me nuts. It didn't help that we got on the bus first, and were let off last.
8. Who did you have a crush on? Kirk. For the third year in a row. Le sigh. Scott. Steve. Other Scott.
9. Did you fight with your parents? Yes, but more often with my sister.
10. Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on? Brendan Fraser, Chris O'Donnell, Matt Damon, Wil Wheaton...
11. Did you smoke cigarettes? No.
12. Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker? No way. I enjoyed my locker, except for the annoying grade 9's whose lockers were nearby.
13. Did you have a 'clique'? I had a group of friends I hung out with usually, but I don't know if we were a clique.
14. Did you have "The Max" like Zach, Kelly and Slater? Dude. I lived in the country and went to school in a small-ish town. There was nothing like that around, except for the donut shop that the punks hung out at.
15. Admit it, were you popular? Not at all. The popular girls did not like me (although they bizarrely started talking to me sometimes this year), but I had my group of friends who were for the most part alright.
16. Who did you want to be just like? I don't think there was anyone in particular I wanted to be like; really, I just wanted out of that school, and those towns.
17. What did you want to be when you grew up? Psychologist/social worker for women in crisis.
18. Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now? I had no idea; I really wasn't good at envisioning the future. I assumed I'd be a psychologist or social worker, I guess, because that's what I wanted to study at the time.
Oy. My head hurts. I hope this afternoon goes quickly.
Camcam is the greatest friend. I luff him.
