Connect the dots, lalala
Mar. 30th, 2005 09:46 amMy week of commuting is half over.
I'm taking care of my parents' animals while they are away on a cruise. The dog is insane. She's even got grey hair around her paws and muzzle, but she still acts exactly like she did when she was a puppy. So insane, and more than slightly annoying. Le sigh. But what can you do?
But anyway, this taking care of the animals means I have to wake up an hour and a half earlier than I normally do, get ready 20 minutes faster than I normally do, and drive just over an hour in annoying traffic so that I can park by my actual apartment, and walk to work like normal. It's getting boring, but at least there were interesting people on the CBC this morning. But it just reminds me of how stupid drivers are, especially when they're on a crowded highway, and don't think they need to signal their lane changes! Dumbasses.
But anyway. It's nice, because it actually smells like Spring in the country, whereas Spring in Toronto smells like dog poo. That's not so fun.
( And now I'm going to blab a little about TAR )
Okay, I'm done being snarky and semi-mean now. Here's hoping today is a good day. The weather is lovely here, so hopefully that's a sign for how the rest of the day will go.
